Uploading Your Dossier to emploi-public.ma: A PDF Upload Guide
Common reasons a dossier gets stuck or rejected on Morocco's public-sector recruitment portal, and how to fix each one before you submit.
emploi-public.ma is where most Moroccan public-sector recruitment (fonction publique) applications get submitted, and the portal is strict about a few specific things that trip up a lot of candidates — usually not because the documents are wrong, but because of how they're formatted or sized.
The size limit is the most common blocker
Public-sector portals like this one generally cap uploads well below what a modern phone photo produces. A diploma or CIN photographed directly and uploaded as-is is routinely 5–15MB; the portal's actual limit is usually a small fraction of that. The fix isn't to lower your camera's photo quality (that affects every photo you take) — it's to compress just the file you're submitting, after taking it:
- Compress PDF to 1MB — for scanned/photographed documents already saved as PDF
- Convert images to PDF — if you only have separate photos of your documents (diploma, CIN, attestations), combine them into one PDF first, since most portals expect PDF, not raw images
PDF, not a photo
If the portal's form field says "PDF" and you upload a JPG or PNG, some portals will silently reject it, others will accept it and then flag it as invalid at review time — either way it costs you a submission cycle. When in doubt, submit as PDF even if the form technically accepts images.
One file per requested document
A common mistake is combining multiple unrelated documents (diploma + CIN + attestation) into a single PDF when the form has separate upload fields for each — the portal usually wants one document per field, correctly labeled, not one merged file. Check each upload field's expected content before merging anything.
Before you submit
Run the file through a quick check against the actual limit you were given, rather than guessing:
